The Lasik Vision Institute

Posted on 30th June 2009 by admin in lasik

You are hearing more and more about the Lasik Vision Center both in the media and from friends and coworkers. Many people you know have already had surgery and are thrilled with the final results-not having to wear glasses or contact lenses. Why are more and more people every year choosing to have their vision corrected by the Lasik Vision Institute?

There are a few very important reasons why people like the Lasik Vision Institute. They advertise that they have:

* Extremely qualified surgeons - they employ leading medical professionals from around the country and they are personally responsible for your eye care.

* Secure technology - they use FDA approved laser technology during each procedure.

* Confidence - their medical professionals have performed over 500,000 procedures.

* Personalized care and treatment - the medical professionals are extremely qualified and they work with you to offer you a choice of laser vision correction based on your individual needs (whether you want LASIK, LASEK, PRK and Custom Wavefront technology).

* Affordable - they offer reasonably priced procedures and easy financing so that everyone can have their vision corrected.

It is reasonable to be anxious about any surgery in or around your eyes. The Lasik Visition Institute understands your concerns and wants their patients to know about the pros and cons of having laser surgery.

You may feel some anxiety about laser vision correction. The laser eye surgery procedure is fast and reliable, and most people will be able see better than they did with their glasses or contact lenses. But, there is no guarantee that you will never need glasses or contact lenses again. Lasik is a great procedure, but it is not perfect and everyone’s eyes are different. You may find that you still need glasses to drive at night.

If everything is okay, you will have your lasik surgery and go through your recovery period. The Lasik Vision Institute staff will answer your questions and provide you with suggestions on what to do after the surgery. It will take a few weeks during your recovery, but your eyes should get stronger and your vision clearer. Most people can return to work the day after their surgery with little or no discomfort.

Take your time, think about your options and then make an informed decision about your lasik surgery. You may end up with 20/20 vision and never have to wear glasses or contact lenses again. Or, you may find out that you do not qualify for this surgery. Either way, you took the time to learn about the procedure and know your options.

If you still want to use the Lasik Vision Institute perform your surgery you can be sure that they will provide you with all of the information you need up front. This includes the costs involves and monthly affordable payments. Their procedures can be as low as $299 per eye and up depending upon the type of surgery performed.

What are you waiting for? You have always wanted to get rid of your glasses and now you know about the Lasik Vision Institute. Contact them and see if they are the right medical group to perform your surgery. They are just a phone call away.

Restore your eyesight naturally, YOURSELF, no Lasik no Lasek

http://squidoo.com/restorevision

Enjoy!

Here’s my own FREE Step-By-Step guide to how I’ve managed to restored my eyesight to 20/20.

I’ve had -4.75 in both eyes, and I now see perfectly well in any lighting condition, any distance.

After browsing a lot online and on the forums, learning about what people are teaching about this, I’ve found a fair amount of poeple critisising all these different methods of restoring your vision (mainly, because there are successes, as well as failures), and I saw something that I have learnt which other courses don’t teach and this something puts all this process ON STEROIDS (their techniques are actually MORE combersome and TAKE LONGER - go, figure), so I’ve created my own little set of instructions (above) now, shorter and better. I have more than enough info to say now that you WILL restore your eyesight to 20/20, EVEN if you’ve failed before, if you just follow my quite unique, and SIMPLE, yet proven many times over, and so much more effective instructions.

There was a research carried out in Russia, a sample of 100 random people with bad vision were taken and they were tought this stuff. Guess how many people have restored thier vision? 80? 90? Nope. 100! Everyone had fully restored their eyesight! So just follow the steps that I’ve put together, and you will also restore your eyesight, no matter what your current dioptres are - be it -2 or +20. Follow this stuff, and you’ll be free from glasses/contacts forever. Thousands have walked the path before us, and thousands will walk it after us. Restoring my vision was one of the best things that have hapened to me this whole year - it changed the way I see the world now, literally, and it will do the same for anyone who is willing to listen, and do this stuff.

Is Wavefront Lasik the best laser eye surgery to date?

Posted on 26th June 2009 by admin in lasik

I am scheduled for my Wavefront Lasik surgery next week. I was told this is the most recent, top of the line procedure available to date. I want to achieve better than perfect vision (20/10 or 20/15); and although it is not guaranteed, Wavefront Lasik has a higher percentage of success compared to other procedures to achieve, what I like to call, "high definition vision". Does anyone have any testimonials or web site links to verify if this is statistically true?

Wavefront lasik will in most cases give better results compared to surgery without using wavefront.

However as you say yourself results are not guaranteed.

Of course with all laser eye surgery there is of course no permanent cure and at some stage later in life spectacles will again need to be worn.

Please read up as much as you can before considering surgery.

Good Luck

Technological Developments - LASIK Eye Surg

Posted on 26th June 2009 by admin in lasik - Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

http://www.toronto-laser.com
LASIK surgery has changed during its brief history as a recognized and wisely-practiced technique. One of the first changes was the introduction of the excimer laser in 1988, a computer-industry tool that was applied to medical science. The excimer laser allows a LASIK surgeon to reshape the cornea by removing small amounts of corneal tissue. Another development of LASIK vision correction has been the growing popularity of Wavefront-guided LASIK. Wavefront-guided LASIK allows the LASIK eye surgeon to capture the patient’s eye’s unique “footprint” and transpose it over the laser treatment, enabling the surgeon to create a custom LASIK plan to optimize the resulting vision. The most recent development, the INTRALASE®, allows LASIK surgeons to cut the corneal flap with a laser rather than a mechanical device.
