Posted on 8th December 2011 by admin in laser eye surgery uk

i am both cross eyed and short sighted so is it possible to get surgery for both of these problems? also if anyone knows any good surgeons in the UK or ireland it’d be much appreciated.

Thanks

basically laser surgery done on many condition like ur should be constant for more than 1 year and cornea thickness every thing is seen then they can tell after examination. no one can assure u that after surgery u dont have to use glass

  1. go to your eye doctor and ask. they will have to perform a series of tests to see if you are eligible for laser eye surgery.

  2. i had this performed about one month ago and i LOVE it!

i dont know how they do things in the uk or ireland but here in the US eye surgeons offer free consultations to determine if you would be a good candidate. they run a few tests, talk to you about the surgery, talk about prices and financing, and thats about it. they take about 30 min to an hour.

they test for your corneal curvature, tear production, and take your prescription. they will numb your eyes with eye drops and the tests are not painful.

uuuh but yeah. get the free consultation at multiple offices/clinics and decide which is best for you. i did 4 of them. your eye doctor usually can recommend you to a good surgeon. but it all comes down to what your feel good about.

do your homework and make sure you know whats going on. dont worry about price. you might want to pay a higher price for a surgeon with 10,000+ surgeries without a single bad incident or you might want to go for the guy thats trying to get his name up their with maybe 3000 for half the price.

do what makes you comfortable. its your eyes dont fuck them up.
