Find a company that uses fresh scalpels. The machine does the work, and your recovery is going to be the same regardless. Find the best price, and verify they are a responsible professional lasik provider.

I advise you to listen to z and fmj.They have the best advice.That price is wayyyyy too high,And also,the aftercare part is a crock too because they schedule your very next appointment at 7 or 8 the next morning and if you are even late, they void the lifetime contract.I had it done and it cost me a lot less than that...maybe around fifteen hundred US dollars per eye.Just make sure the eye doctor you are going to has done a lot of the procedures and you should be ok.

That price is way too high !.

I had lasik June 2008 and I paid 1095 per eye (that was with optical express)

They cannot give a lifetime guarantee as your eyes will naturally deteriorate over time anyway (they say when you get over 40 you may need reading glasses)

I had a fantastic experience with them and would highly recommend. Excellent before and aftercare and during the procedure was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed.

Yes that price seems correct. I paid almost 6,000 US dollars for my surgery, Lasik both eyes, so 4590 pounds sounds reasonable.

That type of price is a joke and the ”life time care guarantee amounts to nothing. Two reasons : 1) there is a heap of small print which precludes UL from doing anything if they ‘don’t consider it to be in your best interests’. If you have a copy of the guarantee! then take it to a medical lawyer and ask them just what it amounts to. 2) If you need a vast amount of after care - then surely you are trusting the wrong people with your eyes? Optical Express aren’t likely to be much cheaper.

Large corporate providers are only interested in you until you have paid - you are going to receive a number of calls asking you to book treatment and making ‘’special” once off offers. Once you have had treatment, no-one will be chasing you for follow-up appointments.
