Can I become an RAF Pilot with laser eye surgery?

Does anyone know the RAF’s latest position on becoming a Pilot with laser eye surgery? I think the US Air Force now allows people who have had LASIK procedures, and I read somewhere the RAF would allow those to have it if they have been selected for training or something?
Please help!

Yes, I’m pretty sure you can. You’re not allowed to if you need glasses, because of safety procedures. But as far as after lasick - since you’ll no longer need glasses on your face, it shouldn’t be an issue.

  1. You have to wait at least 6 months after the surgery and then you must undergo several tests they have to assure that your eyes are working at full capacity.
