Hi William - Patients can typically have the procedure starting at the age of 18. By this age the eyes are done growing and changing so laser eye surgery can be performed safely. If you are 17 years old you could still be a candidate, but you’ll need parental consent. It’s important to remember that everyone is different, so you’ll still need to find out if you are a candidate.

when i went to the opthamollogist,he told me dat power keeps on increasing till ur height increases(as size of eyeball changes)…..so u must wait till ur power becomes stable……..i think 18 is a bit early.i advice u to wait till 20 or 21…..

i well recomend you 21 i mean 18 is okaay but what if your eye still keeps on changing you should wait till you are 21 that well be the best!!
