Will laser eye surgery correct an astigmatism?

Posted on 30th March 2009 by admin in laser eye surgery

I have an astigmatism in my right eye, will laser eye surgery correct this?

Laser vision correction is able to correct farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism. So, yes.

EDIT: The correct way to state your question would be as follows: Will laser eye surgery correct astigmatism. There should not be "an" before astigmatism. That is because astigmatism is not a thing, it is a condition. Similarly you would not say "I have A diabetes." You would say "I have diabetes" because diabetes is a condition not a thing.
