EDIT:  The correct way to state your question would be as follows:  Will laser eye surgery correct astigmatism.  There should not be &#34;an&#34; before astigmatism.  That is because astigmatism is not a thing, it is a condition.  Similarly you would not say &#34;I have A diabetes.&#34;  You would say &#34;I have diabetes&#34;  because diabetes is a condition not a thing.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;Me.
