1. Because each patient will heal slightly differently, results may vary from patient to patient.
2. LASIK could make some aspects of your vision worse, including night vision with glare and halos.
3. LASIK may make dry-eye symptoms worse in certain individuals.
4. In rare circumstances, LASIK can make your vision worse and not correctable with regular glasses or contact lenses.

I had Lasik last April. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I had horrible vision. There was mild discomfort in both eyes for about 2 1/2 months afterwards. It was not intolerable, just annoying. Eye drops helped. I didn’t have halos, but did have dryness. I now have 20/20 vision. As far as the boxing goes, you would have to ask the surgeon about that. I’m guessing you would not be able to box for at least 6 months.
